About TDUA

About TDUA
The mission of the Association is “bringing together shared visions for the development of the display industry and fostering collaboration among members and international partnerships to drive growth and prosperity.”

The Taiwan Display Union Association (TDUA) was established in 2011 through a joint effort by the Taiwan Panel & Solution Association (TPSA), the Taiwan Semiconductor & Optronics Materials Devices Association (TSOMDA), the Taiwan Electronic Equipment Industry Association (TEEIA), and the Society for Information Display Taipei Chapter (SID Taipei Chapter). Its official English name is the Taiwan Display Union Association, abbreviated as TDUA.

Mission of the Age

With over 400 member companies, TDUA facilitates close collaboration between industry, government, academia and research sectors to enable a comprehensive upgrade of the value chain of Taiwan’s display industry and advances cross-sector innovation in panel-level technologies, AI, semiconductors, silicon photonics, and optical communications.

Each year, it hosts Touch Taiwan series of exhibitions, which includes the Silicon Photonics Taiwan, Advanced Packaging and Testing Taiwan, Smart Manufacturing Exhibition, Smart Display Show. These events showcase cutting-edge technologies, applications, solutions, and interactive experiences, creating a one-stop platform for technological exchange.   • Advance innovative applications of Cross-Domain Advanced Panel Level Technology, integrate industry resources, and create new business opportunities.
  • Represent industry views and needs, and provide input to government agencies in formulating and implementing relevant policies.
  • Undertake public- and private-sector commissions for industry consulting, technical exchanges, forums, and promotional activities.
  • Foster industry–academia–research collaboration, establish exchange platforms, and cultivate professional talent.
  • Establish cross-domain industry collaboration platforms to promote resource integration and value co-creation.
  • Mobilize members to participate in international standardization and collaborate on net-zero, sustainability, and environmental initiatives.
  • Organize international exhibitions, overseas delegations, and industry exchanges; build global alliances and partnerships; and help members expand international business opportunities.
  • Integrate resources for professional training and industry promotion to enhance competitiveness and growth momentum.
  • Undertake initiatives aligned with the Association’s objectives and other matters approved by the General Assembly.

With a commitment to driving industry growth and upholding sustainability, the commission actively supports the development of forward-looking, critical technologies while prioritizing the transition to sustainability and achieving net-zero emissions. These initiatives aim to increase industry competitiveness and environmental responsibility.

Marketing Promotion Commission
Through marketing and promotional initiatives, the commission creates a platform for connecting domestic and international business opportunities in the hopes of assisting the industry in expanding its global presence.
  • Organize exhibitions, business networking events, seminars, and host overseas delegations visiting Taiwan.
  • Cultivate dynamic media partnerships to amplify industry visibility and craft a compelling global image.
